Alisa Idoni, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). With more than 30 years of experience, Alisa brings professionalism and passion for the art of massage. She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) and specializes in Integrative therapies, Medical Massage modalities and Chair Massage. She is also a member of the American Bodyworkers & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Alisa graduated from the Pittsburgh Center for Massage Therapy in October 1989 and started her own business with on-site table massage in 1991. In 2001 she returned to school at the Advanced Fuller School of Massage Therapy in Virginia Beach where she studied Ayurveda and Cranio-Sacral therapy. She later taught anatomy, physiology, and pathology at the Virginia Career Institute. She is certified in Chair Massage having been trained directly by the original founder, David Palmer.

Alisa practices a wide variety of styles, including but not limited to Shiatsu, Polarity, Sports, and Pregnancy Massage. She works with her clients to customize the session to their needs. Sessions can be tailored to include areas of chronic tension as well as exclude areas where one prefers not to be touched.

In addition to extensive massage training, Alisa has degrees in theology and business management. She pulls it all together to honor the body and soul through massage. Her desire is for everyone to appreciate, reconnect, and resonate with themselves through bodywork. When she’s not working, Alisa enjoys reading, yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with her twins.
